Bolloré Logistics unveils new office in Shanghai

Bolloré Logistics Greater China has revealed its newly renovated headquarters located in Shanghai.

The office was designed with the goal of reduced carbon emissions and allows an intrinsic reduction of 28.7 per cent compared to the previous office.

Following the 3R design concept of ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’, the new office focuses on circularity. It also takes into account the health of the employee, by using materials and design methods that are beneficial to the employee well-being.

The new office incorporates biophilic features to connect people with nature. Recycling initiatives are also implemented within the office to encourage the concept of circularity.

Bolloré Logistics also reported that 31.5 per cent of the office interior is feasibly recyclable or biodegradable.

During the construction process, local material manufacturers were sourced to reduce transport emissions.

Advanced air-conditioning and air purification systems were also adopted to provide fresh and cool air with real-time monitoring of the air quality, while energy-efficient low lighting settings were installed to reduce strain on employees and fatigue.

The various employee-centric features and environmentally friendly initiatives have contributed to the newly renovated office exceeding the industry benchmark for offices by 13.3 times and 4.1 times respectively for health and circularity.
