Newly appointed Bollard Load Testing (BLT) agent, Dae Kwang Co. Ltd, will be exhibiting at the Offshore Korea 2016 event from October 19 – 21, 2016 in Bexco Busan, South Korea.

Dae Kwang is South Korea’s leading heavy lifting and marine equipment supplier, the overall aim of exhibiting is one of identifying the market need for providing bollard load testing services in South Korea.

Operating from its bases in Ulsan and Gyeongbuk, it delivers comprehensive services throughout South Korea and beyond.

This latest addition to the list of global representatives for UK-based BLT will continue to spread the important message regarding mooring vessels at quaysides improving upon health and safety and best practice.

Projects proof testing the safe working load of bollards is taking place all over the UK using the Innovative Award Winning safe, practical, portable and cost effective testing equipment launched just over a year ago.

Working toward minimising the likelihood of bollard failure with potential costly and life threatening consequences, BLT in the UK is delighted to welcome expansion globally through supporting its Licensed Service Contractors taking the service to their own countries.

Nigeria based BLT Ports and Marine Services Ltd is now testing bollards after completing successful BLT training followed by delivery of the Bollard Load Testing Equipment.

Germany’s Bollard Load Testing GmbH commences its service January 2017 after undertaking training in the UK in how to use its purchased BLT equipment safely and competently.

South East Asia countries of Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia have made formal commitment to become a Licensed Service Contractor. Australia, New Zealand, the Bahamas, USA, Turkey, UAE, Mexico are also in various stages of discussion to take proof testing the safe working load of marine bollards to their countries.
