In the latest of PTI’s exclusive interviews conducted at TOC Europe in London recently, Ronald Meihuizen, sales and project manager of Bemo Rail, stated that the company originally focused on rail and rail-fixtures. Today, it is split into two departments: a real technology department and a shunting technology department.
Meihuizen believes that his company’s products can offer some real advantages for terminals, such as the concrete-sleeper that provides a longer life-time – saving costs for the terminal operator and offering a cheaper foundation.

On top of this, the organisation offers a maintenance platform that is lifted onto cranes so that repair and maintenance work can be completed on the trolley wells. The result is reduced downtime, compared to having scaffolding around the crane.
