AD Ports, TW Steel sign deal for container services at Khalifa Port
AD Ports Group (AD Ports) has announced the signing of a 10-year lease agreement with TW Steel to deliver innovative containerised fabrication solutions, container maintenance and repair services at Khalifa Port.

These solutions and services will reportedly bring flexible and sustainable solutions tailored to the specific needs of shipping lines and container operators at Khalifa Port.

They will use TW Steel’s modular technology, ensuring the creation of high-quality, energy-efficient solutions that minimise environmental impact.

AD Ports reported that TW Steel’s solutions and services further widen Khalifa Port’s offering and value proposition.

They expand the port’s operational efficiency by minimising container downtime while offering shipping lines, logistics companies, and other customers a more attractive and competitive option.

In addition to container fabrication and modification services, which include building office containers, retail spaces, living quarters, storage units, workshops and studios, event spaces, medical facilities, and educational facilities, the company also offer structural and flooring repairs, painting and coating, door and seal repairs, cleaning and sanitisation, inspection and certification and refrigeration unit maintenance.

Commenting on the agreement, Saif Al Mazrouei, Chief Executive Officer – Ports Cluster, AD Ports Group, said: “We are delighted to collaborate with TW Steel to provide our customers at Khalifa Port with unique and innovative container fabrication and maintenance solutions.

“This agreement underscores our commitment to delivering world-class facilities and services that foster the growth and success of our customers while promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.”
