A video released by cargo handling solutions provider Kalmar shows its ‘Kalmar Insight’ tool for turning Big Data into actionable insight in container terminals.
Kalmar combines and makes sense of relevant data from the equipment fleet, terminal operating system and maintenance management systems in order to provide manual terminals with the operational management benefits of an automated container terminal.
It was previously reported that this tool is able to give terminals the advantage of being able to track productivity and performance in real-time.
