A.P. Moller-Maersk (Maersk) has announced that the MAERSK INNOSHIMA will omit its Brisbane call following adverse weather and port closures in Shanghai that disrupted the vessel’s schedule.
As part of schedule recovery measures, cargo bound for Brisbane from Shanghai will tranship in Hong Kong before connecting with the DELOS WAVE for discharge.
Brisbane-bound cargo originating in Hong Kong will also be transferred to the DELOS WAVE.
For northbound services, cargo from Brisbane to Nelson, Timaru and Port Chalmers will be rerouted via the DELOS WAVE, while cargo destined for Auckland, Napier and Tauranga will be loaded onto the VOLANS, which is scheduled to call at DP World Brisbane.
The carrier has advised its customers to update Port Receiving Advice (PRA) documentation and arrange cargo gate-in for the revised vessel schedules where required.
