Welcome to this new edition of PTI’s maritime e-journal! As we mark the 150th edition of our journal, it’s amazing to reflect on how much we’ve covered over the years, especially when it comes to tackling some of the biggest challenges facing the maritime industry today—namely, decarbonisation and sustainability.

This milestone feels like the right moment to shine a spotlight on those topics, and we’re thrilled to release this special edition in tandem with the GreenTech for Ports and Terminals Conference hosted in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The next couple of days are going to be a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved to meet, share ideas, and collaborate on how we can all contribute to decarbonising the maritime industry. We’re really looking forward to seeing all the discussions unfold and, hopefully, making new connections that will drive the change we need.
