AD Ports Group has made a series of senior appointments to its Logistics Cluster under CEO Jochen Thewes, as it seeks to expand its global logistics footprint through Noatum Logistics.
Thorsten Meincke joins as Executive VP – Ocean and Air Freight, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience including Chief Operating Officer (COO) and board roles at DB Schenker and senior positions at Kuehne + Nagel.
Björn Eckbauer has been named Senior VP – Global Air Freight Development and Procurement, with more than three decades in air freight operations at DB Schenker and Expeditors International, while Boris Kuehn becomes Senior VP – Mergers & Acquisitions, bringing extensive experience in corporate venture capital, acquisitions, and post-merger integration from Deutsche Bahn AG.

Regional leadership appointments include Thorsten Pook for the Middle East, Samad Osman for Africa, and Roberto Moreno for Latin America, each bringing decades of experience in global logistics operations.
These moves are intended to strengthen Noatum Logistics’ capabilities across multimodal freight, M&A, and regional operations, supporting AD Ports’ aim to become a leading global logistics provider.
