A video released recently by ARL Shipping shows its new ‘Crane Executor’ app, which is a cloud-based solution for managing container discharge and load operations at ports.
The cloud-based app interacts with the shipping line via Electronic Data Interchange technology and the stevedore is able to discharge and load containers in real-time using the crane executor app.
Once the ship leaves the port, no additional manual work is required as the container moves would have already been confirmed, thereby discarding the need for additional infrastructure.
