An exclusive video has been released by the Panama Canal which marks the top 10 moments since it began operations 100 years ago.
The ongoing expansion of the canal, which is due to be completed in 2015, will enable post-Panamax vessels with a capacity of 13,500 TEU to pass through the locks.
The final gates for the future locks have also been delivered, bringing the expansion nearer to completion.
