PTI has recently announced that it has made the transition to a responsive mobile web template in an effort to remain at the forefront of digital technology.
The move marks an important landmark for PTI, as it responds to its audience’s growing need to be able to view our news, technical content and source suppliers on the move, i.e. via mobile devices.
This is a trend that has developed rapidly over recent years, with more than half of local searches made using a mobile device in 2012, according to the Huffington Post.
According to PTI’s Google Analytics data, the number of sessions recorded from a mobile device has almost doubled from 8.34% in 2013-2014 to 16% in 2014-2015.
