Jungheinrich has launched two new compact reach trucks – the Series 1 model ETV 110 and the 112 model both have a width of 1.12m.

The ETV 110 and 112 trucks are said to consume up to 10% less energy than their predecessors, which Jungheinrich claim makes them the most energy-efficient trucks in their class.

The new reach trucks also claim to offer generous operator cab-space, plus convenient driver access.

Other operator-friendly features include a driver's monitor for displaying the main operating data, such as the direction of travel and wheel-position, as well as three separately adjustable drive programs.

Craig Johnson, UK marketing manager of Jungheinrich said: “Our reach trucks are perfectly suited to warehouses on-site at ports. We have a number of clients around the UK who currently operate these models at ports. The reach trucks are able to work in aisle-widths of around 3 metres, lifting 1,000kg up to 13 metres.”

Jungheinrich’s ‘proprietary position control driver assistance system’ can also be incorporated into the new reach trucks, allowing the driver to stack and retrieve quickly and easily at pre-set storage heights.
