ABP Set to Expand Scottish Ports

In a bid to expand Scotland’s ports, Associated British Ports (ABP) expects to invest into 1.2 hectres of commercial property located adjacent to the Port of Ayr.

ABP has purchased the industrial site from Bricktrain; which has room for expansion with additional office and warehouse units for rent.

Technical Paper UK Dredging Expands Technical Capabilities

Stuart Cresswell, President and Port Manager for Ayr, said: “This property will provide the Port of Ayr with a mix of industrial space for local businesses, as well as, a range of flexibly-sized office units on York Street, all of which are within close proximity to the port.”

ABP has so far invested US$5.3 million over the last four years into the Port of Ayr and the port has an important role in supporting key business sectors in Ayrshire.
