ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc. headquartered in Allentown, PA is a leading manufacturer of proprietary bulk conveyor components and accessories that enhance material flow performance. ASGCO offers classes created to provide your team with the highest quality training to solve your conveyor problems. Each day your team will spend classroom time discussing the most common conveyor problems such as mis-tracking, spillage and dust control. The remainder of the day is spent in our hands-on conveyor training room, installing components on a full size working conveyor. Our experienced staff will show your team the ease of installing and maintaining ASGCO conveyor components. We can also develop the training course to meet your particular conveyor needs. And if you have a specific conveyor problem, we will teach you to discover the real issue, find out what others have done, brainstorm multiple solutions and implement the best one.

Skalper Conveyor Belt Cleaning System with E-Z Torque	Our newly enhanced Skalper series of conveyor belt pre-cleaners have been installed and have solved carry-back problems all over the world. The simple and highly effective Skalper belt cleaner removes carry-back from the conveyor system.
Super-Skalper IV Primary Conveyor Belt Cleaner	The Super-Skalper IV conveyor belt pre-cleaner can tackle the toughest bulk material handling applications.  The massive blade provides carry-back removal for high-speed belts, large head pulleys and large sizes and volumes of material, typically found in below and above ground mining.
Safe-Guard Modular Conveyor Flat Guards	The ASGCO Safe-Guard modular Flat Guard is a modular powder coated all steel guard that is typically mounted to the conveyor steel to guard against moving equipment and protect workers from injury. They are pre-engineered panels that install easily and prevent workers from unauthorized access and away from moving parts and equipment.
Safe-Guard Conveyor Return Roll Changer	The patent pending ASGCO Return Roll Changer allows you to remove and replace a roller from a single side of the conveyor and/or from whichever side of the catwalk is located.
ASGCO Safe-Guard Conveyor Idler Guard	ASGCO has long recognized the importance of ensuring safety in the workplace. The ASGCO Return Idler Guard was designed to prevent injuries from pinch points and to catch the return idler if it should fall. MSHA Accepted - #MSHA IC - 174/3.
Razor-Back MDX Conveyor Belt Cleaner with Bolt-up Tensioner	The Razor-Back MDX is a secondary belt cleaner designed for high speed and maximum tonnage mining systems running in the most aggressive underground and surface mining environments. The heavy-duty, replaceable, carbide-tipped blades effectively clean the conveyor belt with our dual action tensioning systems to maintain even pressure across the entire belt surface.
TORO Reversing Conveyor Belt Cleaner	The TORO secondary belt cleaner is an effective, flexible solution that is also suitable for reversing conveyor belts. The cartridge blade system allows for easy blade change-outs and is available with 3 different blade styles and 2 different tensioners depending on the mining application.
Troughing Tru-Trainer Conveyor Belt	The Troughing Tru-Trainer is based on an enhanced load carrying design which features quicker activation, increased swing and overall better performance. There is no edge damage and the troughing angle is now adjustable. Available in sizes 18" through 96".
Flat Return Tru-Trainer Conveyor Belt	The Flat Return Tru-Trainer reacts as the belt tracker moves off center it will contact the tapered section of the roller on that side of the conveyor belt.  The effect of this will be to force the roller to rotate on its central pivot causing the belt to come back to its original position (centered).
Modular Conveyor Belt Impact Bed	ASGCO's Modular Impact Beds are 18" long by belt width and are designed for easy change out and maintenance. By simply loosening two pins per segment you can remove the center portion of the bed from either side of the conveyor. ASGCO's impact bars allow tightest segment fit in the industry, eliminating potential material from getting caught

  Objective: To protect workers from all areas of conveyor systems that create a safety hazard, yet allow for easy removal of conveyor guarding, and replacement, when maintenance on the conveyor system is required.

• ASGCO Return Roll Changers Provide Safety For Conveyor Maintenance Crews

  At this copper mining operation, the return idlers that track the belt on the conveyor system were very hard to access. The only way to change the idlers on this 36” wide conveyor belt, was to clear out all of the material on the ground and rent a 135’ man lift to access the conveyor belt tracking return idlers.

• Ready Mix Plant Improves Production By Solving Conveyor Tracking Problem

  A ready-mix plant had difficulty properly tracking the vital conveyor belt that feeds the mixer. The problem was essentially that the conveyor belt was difficult to keep in alignment, which caused serious belt edge damage, and in turn de-lamination and spillage in the conveyor load zone.

  A copper mine was experiencing high wear in their "pant-leg" chute liners. A combination of abrasive material and high tonnages was the major factor why the mine was only about to get 4-5 weeks from 1” thick AR500 plates

• 3-DEM Solves A Major Transfer Chute Problem At Northeast Coal Fired Power Plant

  This transfer point was a major problem area for the coal company. While in reclaiming operation, the chute would build up and plug when running wet coal or during freezing conditions. Chute heaters, vibrators and internal baffles were added but the problem still remained. Due to the angle of discharge onto the 60” receiving conveyor, off center loading caused serious belt miss-tracking and constant spillage.

• Solving a PRB Power Plant Carry-Back Challenge

  While discussing the challenges with key employees, and doing a thorough analysis of the plant, we discovered some of the problems that were occurring, including; issues with conveyor belts not getting cleaned properly as well as tensioning systems on the primary belt cleaners locking up (or taking a set) and causing major material carry-back problems within the plant.

  Today's aggregate industry is filled with challenges. Foremost, to produce enough aggregate for cement, asphalt and other products for homes, businesses, schools, hospitals, and infrastructures. • ASGCO Tru-Trainers Dramatically Reduce Conveyor Downtime Generating Major Operating Savings

  Problems of continuous misalignment on a short reversing feeder conveyor belt was causing severe damage to the belts. These were replaced monthly at a cost of $741 USD/each belt, however, down time is $73,059 USD per hour and the replacement of this belt needs a time of 4 hours. That is the equivalent to $292,237 USD of downtime related to the conveyor.
